Hi, can anyone ID this for me please? Little hairy thing growing on these rocks in my aquarium. Thanks.

Black beard algae, should pick off with a finger nail or tooth brush :)
 
Thanks @tam & @Ian_m there was an amano shrimp picking through it & for a moment I thought about leaving it be. I expect it’d take over the tank soon enough though?

there was an amano shrimp picking through it & for a moment I thought about leaving it be.
Not much eats it once it is grown (shrimps will eat it when its dead).

If you have Ramshorn, or Nerite, snails they will graze the biofilm from hard surfaces and that usually stop it forming.

I only tend to get it on <"exposed filter sponges">.
