ID This for me please

Sorry MIranda, its so busy at work that I keep forgetting my personal life... think ive posted the same update on facebook twice today as well....

I envy you... the next leave I have is to move... so its work away from work. What plant can I replace this with, anyone know of a Asian Crypt?

Take your pick.
Most are Asian, most are easy to grow in low light & upwards.
What area is it for, foreground ? Parva, Willsii or Amoricum. Wendtii is a bigger & comes in couple of different colours. Balansae gets very tall.
After planting, if any of the leaves 'melt',don't panic. This commonly happens and the plant will quickly regrow new ones

Thanks Stu.

Im thinking I want to have some tall plants behind the roots in the corners (vallis) and then tall crypts and big Java ferns in the read of the tank so would Balansae be good for that?
Mid - I just want a 'bushy' Crypt which will grow in between the roots whilst I have smaller Java Fern and Anubias on the roots in front with a smaller crypt planted around where the root goes into the soil in the foreground.

That make sense?

I just planted the crypts I got from my friend (will post picture tonight for ID)

Bearing in mind that Crypts can be slow growing.
Balansae at the back right? Its leaves can grow 60cm+ long 😉😉
For the 'bushy', try the Wendtii. The 'Tropica' variety gets around 15-20cm high depending on the conditions, and has a nice leaf pattern.
Just some thoughts....

Yeah Balansae in the rear of the tank with the Vallis and then layered with big Java Ferns on the roots.

Wendtii, can I mix that with another colour crypt for the midground (under the roots)?

What would be a good Crypt to pair up with it, similar size and growth rate? (different colour)

Just added some pheonix moss to my other tank and its such a stunning colour next to the flame moss and java moss. So i really want to create depth with this tank.
