How would you scape this?

Hiya, this is my 100L tropical community tank. I feel like I started trying to scape it when I first set it up but I was never happy and now just let the plant go wild and occasionally add new plants into a free space of sand 😂

This is a photo of the tank when I first set it up vs now 4 years on.

The wood and stones are still in there somewhere beneath all the plants. 🙈

I feel like it just one big mass of green and not much else. I’ve tried making some height by sloping the sand up towards the back, but the sand just seems to equal itself back out with the flow of the filter.

Any suggestions? If this was your tank what would you do?

I would hide the gigantic heater and all the wires underneath, as well as the thermometer.

Then stare at it all day.
