For my new tank i would like to hang the light from the ceiling, however the wires would need to attach to, on one side, flat ceiling and on the other sloped ceiling. Pictures to follow once Tapatalk decides to work.

Use something like this, it has a mounting point to all ends and also regulated length of cables

So having the two mounting points at different heights and angles shouldn't be a problem?

Nope, you can adjust thoose point to which lengt you need 🙂

Do they just screw into the plaster board?

Yeah, i think you also gonna need a screws for a fixture to hang it
