How long to clear

Hi wanted to know how long does it take the water take to clear and do u think I need some more filters
I have 2 internal filter one big one small I have play sand on top of my compost what u all think

what is the size of your tank?

I think sand always take a while to settle (3-4 days?) especially if your disturbed it when filling up your tank with water
