Hi everyone.
Had a surprise this morning when I fed the fish. Just wondered if anyone has found a damsel fly in their tank. Obviously it must haver been introduced along with a plant but I normally rinse my plants off.
Maybe it just flew in? My cats sometimes bring them, or was it freshly hatched? I'd have thought you would have seen the nymph, they are ferocious hunters and can take out (small) fish.
Thanks for the info Petra. Really appreciate it. The tank is a Juwel 190 Trigon and is enclosed. Being retired I spend a lot of time fish gazing - sad really - but never saw anything, but there are many hiding places. Will keep an eye open for more over the next few days.
