Going on holiday soon and would like people's opinions on a few things if poss.

I have a heavily stocked and planted 6ft tank with injected co2 and dose ferts weekly and daily.

I am not comfy leaving the co2 going whilst I am away even though we have a house sitter. I am considering switching it off but I don't want to come back to an algae farm.

I could get the house sitter to dose liquid co2 when she feeds the fish though.

Also what about timing the lights so they are only on for a couple of hours a day when the fish are fed?

Not sure what to do.

Last summer I halved CO2 injection time and photo period (4/hours a day). I cant remember exactly what I did with ; but as far as I can recall I did equal amount of one week's EI the day I went away. It was for 15 days and nothing happened.

Thanks
I am away for 17 days
I was hoping to stop the co2 entirely.
I am just not technically minded enough to be able to figure out the best way around it.

I am worried in case ghe people looking after them do not recognise oxygen depletion and I lose all my fish.
If I were to reduce lights to 3 or 4 hours a day would it have a detrimental affect on plants or fish or just give them a rest?
