High flow?

Hi all. Just about to convert my reef sumped tank which is 100L total volume. My sump pump is rated at 2300 lh (ish) on its lowest setting. Is this too much for a low tech (easy/medium cat plants) setup? Not keen to replace pump but welcome your thoughts...

Might be worth testing the actual flow from the pump. My canister is rated at 1000LH, I put the outflow in a bucket and timed it to fill 30L. Turns out it is only 400LH.
