Hi guys,
I've currently have a few tanks (quite a few actually) and I keep tropical fish and shrimp and currently have 2 tanks for shrimp. I am currently setting up a 100 l tank and wanted some help with setting it up. The lighting in it is pretty bad actually only 20 watts (t8) so im not sure whether to add another tube into the hood if I can or change the lighting but I'd rather not spend to much money on that if I had too. It currently has 14 moss balls in which are doing ok but not great and some java fern but they're tiny took them all off of one leaf of a java fern. I don't have any of those cool rocks a lot of people have but i have a piece of bogwood and a fake root/branch sort off thing will look better with something growing on it. I want to silent cycle it but currently don't have many plants however I have ordered some hornwort (because of its apparent easy nature/hard to kill) and some brazilian micro sword or possibly dwarf chain sword can't quite remember, I ordered these and they were meant to be sent yesterday to arrive today but they weren't and aren't here
. I would appreciate some help with this. Oh and also I have a 900 litre canister filter on it (so I have to modify the hood anyway so I could add the extra lights when i do this) and will have about 700 litres of flow per hour so about 7 times tank turnover per hour. I'm dosing a small amount of ferts and want to get some easycarbo (which I believe it is called) and that is about it if I have missed anything out don't hesitate to ask 😀
Also about apostrophes they seem to come out on my screen when i read your posts it has random symbols which is a bit odd.
