Hi,

I'm from Leicestershire and have had a 250L aquarium for the best part of 30 years, but have never had much success with plants as I had a 12 inch Sailfin Pleco for the last 12 years which would dig up anything and everything, so when he died, I am determined to have a lovely planted aquarium finally.

I am looking forward to getting some help and advice on achieving a successful planted aquarium with some livestock.

Yes, he certainly was, used to watch us when we were in the room. He didn't like changes in his 'home' either, if I put new plants in, he'd uproot them, If I rearranged the stones, he'd put them back! It really was his domain!

All Plecos are interior designers. They have to do it. It's their job. And you did a good job for 12 years! Not all fish can live that long.
