I've just found this forum a few days ago looking for plants to grown.
I've just stopped my reef setup after 8 years, decide to go smaller which i could not manage due to the amount of time required. So packed it all in.
I've not kept tropical or fold water - But fancy keeping guppys and cardinal tetra fish in large groups.
I like the pictures of carpeting plants and small plants with very little leaves -
I currently have a small tank 40"x18"x18" with a weir and painted black with black silicon joints, with equally large sump
I have some co2 equipment but i'm not sure if i will be able to use with a planted set up.
Co2 equipment: co2 regs, solenoid controlled by a ph controller, calcium reactor
One 150 w halide - don't want to use this
2 x 18w - T8 lights unit with 6500k lights plus reflectors
