Looks like the majority of the plants are swords, anubias, crypts, and java ferns. They will be fine without co2.

The hydrocotyle triparita would be fine without co2 too- but will require a bit more care than the others. What i'd do is get a propagator or make a bottle garden out of a plant pot and half an old 2L bottle and just chuck that in there. Leave on windowsill. Spray once or twice daily. Done.

Hope this helps 🙂

Yep, I agree, although I've never had that much success with stems or H. tripartita low-energy style...but then all our tank conditions are different, so I'd go ahead and transfer the lot, and see how they do, it's a legitimate way of figuring out what works and what doesn't. Be prepared for some die off and crypt melt, but given time they should adapt well and grow healthy again.

I transferred the crypts, Anubias, moss, and ferns from a fuel injected tank to a low-energy tank...from here http://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/the-dark-side-or-what-lurks-beneath.24562/page-3 to here http://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/cryptic-haven-low-energy-update-pics.28695/. And all is well as you can see.

That's great thanks 🙂 so what ferz would you suggest, I am dosing Ei at the moment with co2 should I keep on with that without co2 ?

That would work fine but you only need to use around 1/5 - 1/10 the dose. There is more info in the tutorial linked below.

Agree in all above
- may be worth to know, you can expect slower growth, than what you are now used to. You may have to adapt light-intensity too (=a bit lower)

So using the fert I have ready mixed I dose 50ml micro 50ml macro alternate days, so if I drop that to 5ml alternate would that do the trick?

By the way your setups are stunning, I've just had a scan through and am going to read them through fully later on, I have a slight reading problem so takes me a while for info to sink in 🙂

Thanks
