I've had my tank running for about a month since I've had this scape setup and all my other plants are growing fine except these ones.
I have Monte Carlo hanging on the wood as well and it's growing fine but the clumps I glued on the lava rocks aren't crawling very well and are growing quite slow on the rock.
As for the Riccardia chamedryfolia, this is my first time dealing with this plant and I see alot of light green parts so it looks like it's growing. But it's growing very very slowly.
Now I got both of these plants in their emersed form so I don't know if they are taking time because of the transition. But I'd think a month was enough time.
I'm not using EI Method with tank because I want to try and get reds from my rotola and Hygrophilia pinnatifida. So I know my nitrates are quite low. Could that be an issue? I'm dosing with APT Zero (Green one) and Seachem Phosphate as a lean doing method on alternating days and rest on Sunday.
I have high C02 levels, lime green co2 checker before lights come on and my lights are strong.
Here are my full tank stats:
Tank: 7 Gallon Tank
Light: Chihiros A401 8hours a day (75%-100% for 6 hours)
Filter: Tidal 45
Substrate: Fluval Stratum
Fertiliser: APT Zero, Seachem Flourish
CO2: 2 hours before lights, 10 hours a day using co2 bazooka
Plants:
Hygrophilia pinnatifida
Rotala rotundifolia Green, Orange and Red
Monte Carlo (On wood and Rocks)
Hydrocotyle sp Japan
Blyxa japonica
Weeping moss
Riccardia chamedryfolia
Cryptocoryne parva
Cryptocoryne Flamingo
Bolbitis Heteroclita Difformis
Mixes of Bucephalandra
Sorry if I haven't given enough information, if you need more please ask. Is it lack of Nutrients? Would it be better to switch to EI dosing for the time being to speed up growth?
