Hi everyone.
Need help to choose a light for 78cm long tank.
If possible a light that don't leave too much space in the ends so the light will cover all tank from one side to another.
Controlled by app .
If you have any ideas please let me know.
Thank you in advance

First.. full dimensions of the tank is helpful.
Second.. simple or high tech (CO2), high light)

There are only a few "single" lights that fit.
Even less with a full app.

To start.. 151 watts.
Need to add a controller which WAS about $100 US extra.

Money is money, I wouldn't want to pay more than £100, and light, honestly is light so long as it bright enough and contains a mix of colours, yes, Red & Blue light grows plants with a lot less electricity consumed but the look is dire, full spectrum daylight works fine for plants, 5000K or thereabouts is what I use, my plants grow, and the light is not unpleasant to the eye. A suspended light might be an option but on and off and intensity might be all that you can achieve, no problem in my experience.
A suggestion, I haven't gone down this route, I just use cheap floodlights, but my tank is built in so the lights are not visible:

OPP's I was thinking 78" not CM.. DUH!!!!
Anyways since I started this comparison I'll leave most of it.
Mitras 50.4W for the 70, AI Blade 60w 76cm
MITRAS: LED setup per 10cm (4″): 1x royal blue, 1x blue, 2x cold white, 2x daylight white, 1x natural white, 1x hyper red, 2x RGB

  • ai blade
          • 16 – Cool White.
          • 4 – Warm White.
          • 2 – Blue.
          • 2 – Red.

Rough comparison both at 100%
You can find much cheaper bars that work though most aren't "designed" for 30".
Many like 24" then extended.
And lower wattage but easy to get 1wpg which is roughly on the border of high light for most tanks.
The depth of your tank is fairly easy to get high light to the substrate.

Inexpensive light..30W app controlled 4 channels 57-85cm
2 for 60 pounds.. 😉
