Hi all, my name is Pete and I’ve been keeping aquariums since I was 16. Sadly that was more the 50 years ago… The only real break I took was after the pandemic when long covid made me incapable of looking after a tank. Thankfully I’m a bit better now and decided to try my hand at a small Iwagumi style tank. I’ve got most of the hardware together and hope to start the tank in a few weeks.

I think I will although don’t hold your breath😀 I still have mobility issues so it’s going to be a slow process. I was fascinated by the Iwagumi as it is totally different to what I’ve had before with its focus on rock placement and carpeting plants. Still got a lot of research to do before I start as my usual technique of shoving some gravel and plants in isn’t going to work.
