Hi everyone - I'm new to planted tanks so looking forward to picking brains on here, if I may. I started fishkeeping in my teens in the early nineties, mostly cichlids and catfish so not too many plants. Came back to the hobby in the mid-noughties with quite a successful reef tank, but that just got so overwhelmingly time consuming I had to step away for my own sanity. Anyway, as I rapidly approach the tail end of middle age I'm back again, this time with an interest in planted tanks. I've recently set up a nano with CO2, currently housing dwarf puffers and shrimp - and plants: therein lies my first question, so I'll hunt out a relevant sub-forum and post there...
