Been lurking and guesting for a while now whilst setting up my first planted tank.
Got a 6x2x2.5 deep, sumped set-up. Medium/Low led floodlighting, EI dosing (2/3rds dosage) and pressurised CO2 fed direct into the sump pump to mist. If it matters, 4-5bps through the CO2Art XL bubble counter.
Still on the first stage of planting atm, should recieve my next batch next week and will then move my placeholders into my refugium. It's going well at the moment, minor brown slime algae in the refugium but the main tank is relatively free.
Slowly transferring my previous livestock over, 4 Silver Sharks, 5 Cories and an Ancistrus have already made the move and seem exceedingly happy. Just 3 Syno. Eupterus, 2 Plecs and a rescued Clown Loach to go.
Have to admit to being nervous about the Plecs! Clumsy, scape destroying buggers that they are.
Just want to say thankyou to you all, for all the helpful posts and articles I have scoured over the last few months. 🙂
