Hello from a newbie.

Hi to everyone from Scotland. I am a novice fish keeper with two small tanks, one is set up, planted and running. The second is a work in progress. Hope to have it up and running sometime in July, after my holidays. This gives me time to get ideas from some of the super aquarium photos on here and collect all my hard scaping materials etc.
I look forward to reading and using the forum.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Unfortunately, Petra, we lost our dog in February aged 11, he was a super dog and is greatly missed.
My tank is not much compared to the super tanks on here Tim but I'll try a photo anyway.

So sorry about your doggie, I know how you feel! Get a Springer Spaniel next, all the fun and brains of a Border, just (slightly) saner... usually.
Your tank, as Tim says, looks great and sure as hell a LOT more great than mine right now.

Thanks so much Petra, we decided he would be our last dog hence the fish. My experience with Springers, would not class them as sane LOL.
Looking at other tanks on here, mine feels so amateurish, hopefully my next effort will be better.
