Hi All,
I've been a planted tank enthusiast since the early 90's my one claim to fame is a 299th placement in the 2006 IAPLC contest with this tank
That is the only time I've entered but maybe I'll have another go with my next setup.
I'm about to downsize considerably from my current 120 x 60 x 60 tank to 60 x 30 x 45 because I'm tired of all the effort and running costs of a large tank. My old tank had some funky things going on such as continuous drip harvested rainwater instead of water changes which was fine but for the lack of adequate fertiliser control so it has always morphed back to an almost low tech tank due to the ease of managing slower growing plants with less pruning... Anyway I'll be starting a new thread re my new tank soon...Cheers!
