Hi!
I am not sure this is the right section to post this issue because what I will show you bellow looks not like algae. Anyway ..
There are a few months from when I begin to see some gray deposit, like a film, on the stones. What is strange is that this gray film can be seen only on the rocks that are in shadow! Please see belllow pics.
First, we though that is because of the leaves of Cryptocoryne that are close to the stone.
But apears also under Hygrophyla ...
... and under Ludwigia!
It is amazing how well defined is it! Certainly is not algae ... I gues!
Amano and RCS ignore it! Oto, SAE and Spiral too! I tried to clean it with a brush. No visible effect. Only with a sharp tool can be scratched. What do you think is this?
