Hi to all,
My return to keeping tropicals started with the aid of my grand daughter and a little gold fish tank (i had 3ft/4ft tropical tanks years ago with undergravel filters how times have changed), It's taken 3 steps to get to the current 60ltr that she has now so still smallish.
Me and the Missus/boss re-decorated our living room recently and found that the little tank not longer had a suitable location in said room but we do have a blank corner available(our friends have a corner tank).
Since returning from summer hols, I have purchased a used Juwel 190 in good cond, new Co2 kit currently waiting for extinguisher, internal filter was removed during cleaning and replaced with Eheim pro4 350 coupled with an external 300w heater. I want the tank empty of the usual so I could try to create a nice natural planted tank. For the inside I have ADA soil and powder a large-ish piece of Red moor and some Dragon stone to create a sandfall (received by mistake I ordered Seiryu but thats another story) I know that doesn't tie in with my intended style. So there is no going back now, been doing loads of research with the aid of Google and have decided it's time to join a good forum for any specific questions I will need to ask. By the way the tank has not been started yet.

welcome 🙂

Retailer should be happy to credit your account/card (& leave the mistake stone with you) or replace with the ordered stone at no additional cost (to you)

The 2 stones impart such different character to a scape ... I suspect you'll be happier in the long term having the stone replaced with what you wanted rather than making do just to get the tank underway

Alto
I originally ordered the 14kg of Seiryu stone and received 11.5kg of the Dragon stone by mistake after contacting the retailer he did offer to send me the correct batch and weight of stone.
I originally wanted the dragon because of it's character, then I discovered info on aquascape styles and because I wanted a natural scape style I changed my mind and chose the Seiryu stone instead. While researching on safe epoxies and silicone I discovered that Seiryu stone changing water ph levels (bearing in mind I intended to use it to build 50cm ish sandfall) so with hind sight this was a blessing in disguise.
