G6 confusing me...

Hi all, with high expectations i hooked up a G6 yesterday to replace my eheim pro2. It is now holding my bio media from the pro2 ( G6 held half the amount of media!) and the standard carbon and prefilter cartridges. Last night the filter showed 100% flow which i thought was odd as it runs my inline diffuser and was expecting a drop.. But feeling the outlet it was blowing well, it is set up to hit the front glass from the back (75cm) which would intern go along the substrate for the full width back.

I came home today and the G6 display shows a 25% drop in flow, looking closer i can see it no longer creates movement of the tennelus past half way back and feels like a lot more than a 25% drop.

Checked everything over, inlets, outlets, pipe kinks, mech cartridge all fine??? It is now producing less flow than the pro 2 was!

I'd like to think im missing something. Ruled out the inlets being restrictive as the pro3 next to it runs the lilys without an issue at a MUCH higher flow rate with lots of floss, purigen, up inline and hydor inline heater

So as you can see im a little confused what may have caused the 'display flow' to drop by 25% and by the reality of the flow loss which looks and feels like 50% or more has dropped off?

Any ideas are very welcome.....

Anything clogging the impellor and flow route in the head ? Or are the white flaps on the prefilter cartridge positioned correctly ?

The other thing to bear in mind is that you cannot have stuff in the biological section that causes restrictions near the flow grid on the grey plastic divider.
