I have just bought a 2nd hand tank setup with an fx4 and have been scouring the internet trying to find out how I can fit lily pipes. Has anyone actually ever managed to do it successfully? I didn't want to reduce the tube size but found one post where they said they split the flow to 2 sets of lily pipes but they never came back to the thread with their result.

Would also like to fit an inline heater but if I split the flow will I need 2 heaters or will a heater on leg of the flow be enough?

Or do I just sell the fx4 on and buy an oase 600?

The tank is a 240l.

In the process of cleaning and repainting it now.

Just to add. I was thinking twin 17mm lily pipes or if I can ever manage to get my hands on some. I've seen 20mm pipes. Was wondering about running this as a single set and only having to reduce the tubing from 25mm to 20mm.
