Had this frogbit in a community non-planted tank, I went to move some of it over to the new set up and noticed it has holes in?

Hi all,
I'm going to start with the premise that it is hard water, and the fish are likely to be supplying, at least, nitrogen and phosphorus.
Had this frogbit in a community non-planted tank, I went to move some of it over to the new set up and noticed it has holes in?
It looks like it might be magnesium deficiency. If you look at the older leaves they are stripy, the technical term for this is <"interveinal chlorosis">.

If it is magnesium deficiency the plants should green up pretty quickly when you add some Epsom Salts.

cheers Darrel
