This is my second try with floating plants. My last attempt was in my father in laws tank, but they died after doing well initially mainly due to him not dosing with any ferts. Ive been through the threads here on the plant, and its requirements, and at the moment dosing with TNC complete. Ill review the plants as time goes on with respect to any other deficiencies springing up like iron or mag etc.
My first batch sent by mail melted due to the time in the post what with the strikes. The seller sent me out a fresh batch, and they are doing well sending out fresh roots, and new leaves sprouting.
I was a bit concerned with the bladder snails on them, but so far been ok. Im guessing the smaller snails might take a liking to the fine root hairs, and wondered if they might restrict the plants growth?
