Hi, I have a Fluval Profile 1000 tank which has built in uplift filter tubes. At the moment I have a FLUVAL 206 connected, but have recently upgraded to a 406 for increased filtration. I have noticed the ribbed pipes that came with the 406 are slightly larger than the 206's, but the the white flexible ends are the same. Would it be ok to use the existing 206 pipes on the 406 or could this reduce flow. It could turn into a nightmare if I have to empty the whole tank to get to the fixed piping. The tank is sitting on a wooden trunk.
