Hi,

I am a Belgian living in Abu Dhabi.
I had several tanks as we were always moving.
I have a planted Betta tank which is doing well and I want to set up a low tech planted tank.
I think it will be a Rio125 because that is closest to what I want and it is available here.
But what I really like is those new Fluval Freshwater Aquariums.
They are rimless, with a cover, clever filter placement and LEDs!
Does anyone has experience with them?
They really look great.

They should make tanks like cars, with different options!
Now I am looking at a Dymax glass cube.
They come in three sizes;70,90 and 110l. They have a one size Led for it about 35W.
So I would be fine with the 90l for a low tech tank,I think.

Welcome to UKAPS 🙂 I have a Rio 125, nothing wrong with that 😉

Thanks!
And yes,I have seen your tank, nothing wrong with that indeed!
But I had two Juwel tanks before.
And I like Leds. And rimless.
I am now leaving for Europe for two weeks and after that I will start up the new tank.
Fluval is not possible here so I will go for a Dymax Crystal Clear glass cube.
It has 35w Led lights and I will get a cannister filter for it.
I will go for the 90l size. The lights should be good enough for a low tech.
Not much choice in plants anyways!
I will hunt for some driftwood in Antwerp.
