HI,
Thank you and yes it is the Jewel 350 Led i have i am finding the out put to to strong so was asking if anyone has fitted a spray bar to the outlet ?
Regards
Derek

The outflow of the Juwel pumps cannot be regulated. There are no useful accessories from Juwel. It may help to replace the Eccoflow 1000 with an Eccoflow 600. Or you may have to make something yourself to regulate the flow. Useful alternatives could certainly be produced with 3D printing. I think the Bioflow filters themselves are very good, but the outlet is a real nuisance.

I fitted a spray bar to my Juwel 180 600l, but the flow wasn't great. I think the Juwel pumps are not that powerful especially when the outlet is flow limited by a spray bar.

I tried a 1000l pump head, flow was obviously better, but it kept blowing the home made spray bar off the pump head, as the fittings are push fit rather than push click fit. Also due to increased flow it flattened and crushed the internal filter sponges.

Using my JBL 1500l external filter was significantly better, getting enough slow all around the tank.

Hi,
Thank you for your replies , i will contact a guy that made up some spray bars via 3d printing for my last tank , I am really pleased with my Rio 350 Led but for the money paid i think an adjustable flow and a 10 min pause for feeding on the pump would be ideal ,
Thanks Derek

Careful about putting Jewel heads on a timer. I did this with Juwel pump head off between 7pm and 10pm, as tank was in the lounge, so tank was "silent", but occasionally when the power came back on the pump wouldn't start !! Just sat there "buzzing", which was quite noticeable then next morning when I came to feed the fish. Quick power cycle and usually pump started straight up.
