Fluval 307 and Qanvee help

Hello!

I’ve just purchased a Fluval 307 and Qanvee to replace an old all pond solutions canister which I used with a jbl inline diffuser.

I’ve also bought some eheim hose to replace the fluval hose provided as I saw advised on this forum. My issue is, what do I about the section of hose which bends into the tank?

Placing it on the rim connectors provided causes it to kink.

Hi, here's what I did back in the day when I had an inline diffuser.


From the filter to the bottom connection use the replacement hose.

From the top of the diffuser use the original ribbed hose, connect the part that would normally connect to the filter. It should be easy to connect and tighten. Hope I made myself understood!
