Floating inlet for external filter

Hi,

I am running an external Fluval 306 in my 160L Fluval Studio tank. I remember seeing one of George Farmers videos where he was using a floating inlet (so it also acted as a surface skimmer)

Has anybody come across these and if so where can i get one?

Eheim, do an inlet which has a hinged skimmer http://amzn.to/2DsiWmO the reviews here are saying fragile but we've had um at least ten years.

Agreed on the Eheim one. I used one, sturdy enough. It managed to suck up small fish though.

Guess i should have said i have holes drilled in the bottom of the tank with vertical pipes as below, so i am looking for the "floating inlet pipe" to fit in that.

It might be worth DIYing one as I don't think anything exists.

Yeah... with that kind of piping, you may want to build an overflow box.
