Can anyone give me an estimate to cover a 80x40 cm tank with rocks on the substrate with these kind of mosses (carpet idea). How many pots would I need If I use the blender method (mixing the mosses with water and some yoghurt). I have no clue how many. An estimate is fine 🙂

Hi
Look here for information!--------------------> https://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/georges-tmc-signature.25103/page-12
I'm not sure what you mean by carpet idea!
If your going to use rocks covered by the Dry Start Yogurt Method I don't think you would need that many moss pots!
George used 5ml/10ml of yogurt to 100ml of RO water.....you can add as much moss as you like to make the mix thicker or thinner its your choice!

That topic inspired me to do it 🙂. My plan is to put lava rocks between 'trees' of spiderwood for a forest scape. I have really no clue how much pots to buy of that expensive stuff.

Btw I saw in that topic that weeping moss is suitable for yoghurt method. But in the
Mosses that do or don't attach to Hardscapes! thread it says no.
