Hello from across the pond! I have always raised Kribs but this pair is different. After spawning, the male began to treat his mate very roughly so I removed her, fearing he would kill her. Now he is raising the fry by himself and is doing a good job. Has anyone ever heard of this?
He was always fierce, his broken dorsal was from fighting from other females( who fought back). Included is a prosumer , short vid of him tending his brood.

Hi Fenestra

It seems to be quite common for Krib pairs to turn on one another although it is usually the female who seems to prevail but I have heard of males rearing the fry alone.
