Fish Box/Pod 64Litre Set Up Help

Hi all,

My Name is Lawrence I'm new to aquascaping. I'm currently in the process of setting up a new tank and would really appriciate some advice.

Bascially I picked up a Fish Box/Pod (Interpet ) tank for £20 on ebay. Great I thought. Saw the hood lights, not so great. They have there own thing going on, 2 15w lights, one cool blue other day light. What can I do?

My first through is to replace the the blue one with another 15w bulb and keep both on at the same time, this would give me 30w. Would I be right to assume this would be just over 2WPG bearing in mind the tnak won't be completely full? Is this enough?

My plan (hope) is to have a carpet of a grassy looking plant, with some taller plants at the back with a big rock in the middle.

I've read so much infomation and a lot of that seems contradictory. Can I use somethign like easy carbo to provide CO2, should I not bother on a 60l tank? should I use easy carbo as well as a CO2 kit? do I need a CO2 kit? it's all blowing my mind a little bit, but I am determined but before I even think about that, I need to know if I cna make this light set up enough for what I want?

Thanks,

Lawrence
