So just an interesting question to throw out there to see what everyone's opinions are of trimming plants for the first time.

Obviously with this question, answers will be different for specific types of plants, but to make it easier, let's just separate answers into slow and fast growing plants.

When do you trim a new plant for the first time?

Hey thanks for the post it was not what I was looking for from the thread tbh.

This was really meant to spark a chat around what grow in periods people give for plants.

Are you a person who let's stems get to surface before first trim or do you cut at 3/4 length growth.

Do you cut to Bush out early or are you a let the plant establish.. Etc.

Personally I am a dutch guy and use an unusual planting style where I plant in stages. With most I cut at 3/4 and cut to Bush out early.

What's your preferred?
