Filters for fry?

So my guppies had babys.... About 20 so far, I dont want to overcrowd my tank so was going to have a separate one for the baby's to grow without being eaten. Any suggestions on a filter that's safe? And best setup for guppies ?

Hamburger matten filter. Ideal in breeding setups, fry can graze from the surface.

If you're using an external filter, just put a sponge on the intake. If it's internal filter, use sponges as well as media, at least on the outside where the water is sucked in. Or what Ed suggested above is a very good idea.

The biggest concern is always the filter inlet which you will have a prefilter.

The cheap UGF works perfectly and no prefilter required
