Filter choice

Hi. Bought a second hand juwel 96 litre. No filter included in corner housing so I was advised to remove the housing. I am not getting much information online on which type of filter I should buy.. Would an internal filter with power of 150 gph be just right or too much?. I don't want to upset fish but want a clean tank. I have no fish yet just doing my homework. Thanks

Suggested target is 10x tank volume per hour. Aim for something with 900-1000lph turn over.
