External heater efficiency (is it related to filter?)

Hello guys,

I would like to ask you if there is any relation between the external heater and the filter flow regarding the efficiency.

What I mean.
Assume that we have 2 filters. The one is rated at 1.400l/h and has 16/22 hoses and the second has 900 l/h and 12/16 hoses.

Is there any significant difference if you install the external heater to the smaller one instead of the larger?

Thank you

The difference is in the hoses attachment. The heat transfer to the water will still be the same. So use the one which is most covenant to you.

Does the aquarium heats up at the same speed regardless of the water flow of each filter?
Or because the stronger filter circulates more water is also faster ? (More water liters through the heater per hour)
