External filter

Hi. Can one one help me to with external filter for my aqua one 55 tank. I got internal with one very annoying and looks ugly.

Eheim and JBL are the most commonly used with the highest ratings. Always go for a filter that has a 5-10x flow rate than the tank size.

I would not save money in filters... much better to buy oversized filters (I mean oversized according to the manufacturers' recommendations) and look for something that has 10x flow rate than the tank size as mentioned by DRG93. JBL e401 works great but I would go for JBL e701, very low consumption and perfect IMO for you
