Extending Twinstar/Chihiros 'steriliser' cables

After some pointers please.............
I'm looking to extend the cable from my steriliser to my diffuser which I believe are the same size for both Twinstar and Chihiros. I make the external diameter 2.5mm but seem unable to find any connectors, adaptors, leads etc to even make something. Anyone any pointers?

After many hours of searching I've found an extension so if any one else is interested in extending the lead from their Twinstar steriliser of Chihiros doctor there is an ebay link below.
I have tested it and can confirm it works.
