Excess livestock.

Out of curiosity, if you have a healthy tank with breeding livestock eg. cherry shrimps, guppies, etc.
How do you control the population numbers/ what do you do if you have too many fish, shrimps, snails...?

You can add fish that will prey upon the Guppy fry and shrimplets along with 2 - 3 assassin snails.

The population only increases if there is enough food for the fry. Do not be tempted to increase the amount of food being added to the tank as the fry increases unless you want to raise all of the fry.

A couple of dwarf cichlids like a German Blue Rams, etc.
