EpiWeb & Hygrolon alternatives?

In the past I have used EpiWeb covered in Hygrolon on dripwalls in my paludarium. It's years since I have bought any and the price of both seems to have increased significantly. Does anyone know of cheaper alternatives?

I use flexible sports tape.
Comes in all sorts of colours, is stretchable and absorbs well.
