Unfortunately the Eheim Pro 3 video has been updated with the Pro 4 but really they are very similar

(You may want to watch the leaky Pro 3 troubleshooting video - I've not had any leaks with my Pro 3's but I also don't like using the Prime button)
- the Prime button works easily enough if both intake & outtake lines are empty, but if the out flow line is full of water, it exerts too much back pressure for the Prime button to work as designed

If you can't get the prime button to work then disconnect the spray bar and suck the water through. As long as you don't mind a mouthful of tank water of course.
