Eheim CompactON 600 Pump

Hello!

I have brought the Eheim pump to help with water changes.

When i tried to push the water from the bucket on the floor through the tubing to the tank ( Fluval Shaker), the pump couldnt push the water up until i lifted the bucket onto a chair.

Would you expect the pump to be powerful enough to do this or am i expected to much from a 600lph pump?

Im abit disappointed so far and im hoping its some kind of user error.

Specs EHEIM compactON 600 say max 1 meter head height. So it won’t push the water up the tube unless the height is less than 1 meter. I’m using the next one which is 1000 and it works very well if the bucket is seating on the chair 🪑

I would start with 2100 model if you are looking to pump from the floor level
