The new filter I ordered arrived yesterday so I thought I’d just upload a few pictures so folks can see what you get.

I’m not sure if all vendors supply the same package but I bought mine from Eheim Aquarium Parts.

Carefully reading the description it said it came with bio media and double taps included in the £71.99 price.
A complete media package for this filter from Eheim is around £27 on its own and the double taps vary from about £13.50 up to about £17.00 each depending on supplier. As you can see the package comes with coarse and fine pre filters and a thin carbon filter. Also supplied are about 600ml of Ceramic rings and 1 Litre of Eheim’s SubstratPro bio media. As well as the usual inlet, outlet pipes and suckers etc you get 2.6 metres of 12/16 hose. The filter itself is fitted with a Euro plug but an adapter is supplied to fit UK sockets. That’s about it, if you want any more technical details head over to the Eheim site.
