Planted up some of the Echinodorus vesuvius 2 weeks ago, I have now started to see some yellowing of the old leaves and they have started to die off :( normal? CO2 is in the yellow, so that would leave a defficiency in ferts?

JOHNNY

Been EI dosing the tank everyday, no fish so I have been overdosing heavily, at least I thought I was :(

What iron?

This is what I don't get, CO2 is good, 15x turnover for flow, good ferts in high doses, don't undersand why its melting. :arghh:

Hi Jonny
Remove the melting leaves this will promote new growth, give the plant time to adapt in its new environment.
Add root tabs try not to disturb the plant there after.Good flow around the plant will help.

OK, cheers everyone, will continue with getting rid of old leaves and blasting it with ferts and CO2 :)
