Echinodorus sp

There are so many echinodorus i realy wouldn't know, but refering to it's common name Sword plant i guess this has developed from it's submersed form. I've yet not found a picture of a echi resambling a sword in it emersed form. Most submersed pictures on the net you might want to ask when was it taken and it might be a picture from a echi not yet transitioned to it submersed form.

But maybe an Anubias gracilis is something for you, i believe there are few bigger anubias var. growing like that.. But the gracilis stands out the most with it's arrow shaped leaves.. 🙂

As you seem to have discovered Ech. palaefolius will not keep the oval shape of leaf-plate when submersed - it will be much more elongated.
Ech. aquartica will keep the oval shape of leaf-plate when submersed, but the leaf-stem will be shorter.
Both Ech. ozelot (the red one) and the Ech. ozelot 'green' will keep an oval leaf-plate submersed and a longer leaf-stem. The red ozelot grow bigger than the green one, by the way.
