Echinodorus osiris

Well bought this the other day from my local p@h(they don't normally have many plants in but had to snap this up along with two pots of Pogostemon Helferi for £9 )

Since i put it in the tank on monday its started sending up this long stem


Just wondering if its a new plantlet forming and should i just let it keep growing?

Your assupmtion would be right. If it gets to the surface you may see some nice white flowers, otherwise,you will have small Osiris plantlet along the length of the stem.

Pets@home is the only choice i have where i live 🙁 I pop in weekly but this is the first fresh batch of tropica they have had in for a least 3 months :?
Not to say i was well pleased to come out with a pot of Osiris and 2 of Helferi 😀 I get most of my plants online but you cant beat getting your hands wet and picking your own pots 😀
