Easiest carpet plant for low tech

Hi all just after some opinions on which carpet plant spreads quickest in a non co2 tank, will be using a 35l tank with 16w lamp and can dose liquid carbon if needs be, thanks

Personally I'd go with Eleocharis for low tech. You can buy great big pots really cheaply from pond suppliers (eg http://www.lilieswatergardens.co.uk/pro ... ts_id=2268), which allows you to plant really densely to begin with, and gives an instant lawn, without having to wait months for it to fill in.

Agree with hairgrass, I buy the Marginal Pond Section Tubs, and this covers alot.

Other good plant which carpets well in a low tech tank is Pogostemon Helferi. Its a nice looking plant too.
