Hi,

Just done a bit of a plant cutting back and cleaning of the glass, and its very noticable how the Dwarf Corys are now swimming up and down the glass at quiet a rate.

Sometimes its just one on its own and it does look like it may be acting against its reflection, either being friendly or more likely terratorial ?

Other times a group of them will be going up and down together as if they are having fun racing each other.

Know other fish will do similar things, but interested to know if its aggression or fun ?

Hi all,

They should stop soon, it is often just a stress thing because their environment has changed.

If it is a female (larger) and one or two males it can be a prelude to egg laying, particularly if the fish are good condition and you've just changed a reasonable volume of water.

cheers Darrel
