Downsizing

Hi,

I have a lovely large tank (3.5ft x 2ft x 2ft I think) that I have been looking to downsize for years.

I only have one red tail shark in this tank now, so it is being wasted in many ways including my energy bill.

What size fish tank do you suggest I downsize to? Opinion seems to vary regarding the RTS.

I would like to plant the tank and have a couple of hiding places for him/her.


What size tank would you recommend?
- I need LED lights to keep the running costs as cheap as possible.

I wouldn't keep the shark in a tank much smaller than 3ft if I'm honest, they're not the smallest of fish and like a fair bit of space.

Maybe you could go for 30in by 18in but I wouldn't go any smaller if it was me.

Thank you. The tank will only hold the shark. Nothing else.
